About Chapter “K”

GWRRA Georgia

Chapter K was chartered in June 1989 in Brunswick, Ga.  It was later moved to Kingsland , Ga on 15 April 1995.  The original LOGO consists of a HONDA GL1500, the GA State Outline and the State Fruit along with the notable “FLYING TEETH” gnat drawn by local artist  Gerald. M. Avery.

Chapter “K” is located in Kingsland, Ga.  Kingsland is in the south east corner of Georgia and is approximately 40 miles north of Jacksonville, Florida.  For more information on Kingsland and it’s neighboring town of St. Mary’s, visit the Kingsland website at: www.kingslandgeorgia.com or the  St. Mary’s website at: www.stmaryswelcome.com. 

Meeting Times and Locations:

1^st Saturday – Dinner Run

            I-95 Exit 1, Hess Station ( Wendy’s side) Meet @ 5:00pm.

  2^nd Thursday – Chapter Meeting Aunt B’s Home-style Buffet (click for map)

              Eat at 6:30, Meet at 7:30

                      (GPS Coord N 30º 47.084, W081º 36.504)

              Directions:   I-95 Exit 3,   East on Hwy 40 (towards St. Mary's), Left on Kings Bay  Road (approx 2 miles),  Aunt B's is on the right (approx 1 mile),

                Tell them you are with the Gold Wing Group if you don't want to eat, tell them at the      register.

 

 4^th Tuesday – Tire Kicker :  Time: 7pm.  Location:  Jacks BBQ, Kingsland, Ga.
